The TAC 2020-One Toronto conference organizing committee calls for members of the Canadian and international tunnelling community to contribute recent research developments and advancements in their respective fields of interest and practice. The theme of the conference is Tunnelling our Future: Vision Underground – presentations illustrating analysis, techniques and innovative solutions as well as research on recent trends or future prospects are welcome.
With the rescheduling of the conference to October 2021, the abstract submission period has been extended. Authors are invited to submit abstracts of a maximum of 300 words by the extended deadline of February 15, 2021 through the Online Submission page of the conference web site. Abstracts can be written in English or French.
A detailed list of the proposed session areas can be found on the Technical Themes page of the conference site.
Invitations for the submission of full papers will be e-mailed on or before March 8, 2021 to authors whose abstracts are accepted by the conference's Technical Committee. Technical papers are due by May 31, 2021 and will be reviewed prior to final acceptance for inclusion in the conference program and proceedings. At least one author of an accepted paper must register for the conference in order to upload a technical paper and to be invited to make a presentation in the technical program.
